Mr. Kinley arrived early for the autumn Heating PM. He discovered that the gas pressure was slightly low. He re-set the pressure and explained that low gas pressure reduces the efficiency of my new furnace. As evidence of his thoroughness, he checked operation of a new compressor contactor that a Pernell mechanic installed a few months ago.

They were able to answer my questions about the A/C evaporator coil, about the drainage system, and about the severity of the problem. They also proactively checked the some components on the furnace side of the system.

Timely, knowledgeable, professional!

William and his trainee Carlos were on-time, professional, and informative. William listened to me describe the issue, then quickly diagnosed the problem, and also showed Carlos the visual features of a bad capacitor. Carlos was inquisitive and demonstrated initiative. Hopefully the failed capacitor did not negatively affect other parts of the system for too long...I always learn something technical from William. He also re-assured me that if the capacitor looked anywhere near that bad 8 weeks ago then Ariosto would have definitely noticed it. They replaced the part with an American-made capacitor (with 5yr warranty), applied all discounts related to my maintenance plan, and verified the interior of the house was cooling correctly. The entire process was effective and efficient, as usual with William.
